Students of National Public School, Yeshwanthpur, celebrated Teachers’ Day on 11 and 12 of Sep 2020 on the virtual platform.
Commemorating this day, students took to the online platform to pay glowing tributes to their teachers in the form of a speech, group song, jugal bandi — where the East met the West — with a dash of beat-boxing thrown in for novelty. A humourous skit highlighting the predicament of the teachers during online teaching sessions infused much-awaited laughter and mirth into the programme.
The senior students paid a musical tribute to their mentors along with an invocation to Saraswathi, the Goddess of learning. They wrapped it up with a moving speech on how teachers mould the mindset of the students in a very positive way. The session concluded with the Vote Of Thanks rendered by the Co-Ordinator appreciating the efforts of the participants and students for putting up such a spectacular show during trying times of the pandemic.
