World Environment Day was celebrated with much zeal and fervour by the students of National Public School,
Yeshwanthpur on 5 June 2021. Each and every student was encouraged to participate in different activities ranging
from writing a Poem, Slogan writing/Poster making and Extempore on issues related to the Environment. The students
amazed us with their in-depth knowledge of the environmental concerns and spoke passionately about the need for
conservation. The slogans and posters designed by the students to convey the message ‘Recreate, Reimagine and
Restore’ was a sight to behold! The day truly proved to be fruitful and provided us the much-needed assurance that our
Earth is in safe hands.
Such events reinstate the fact that we depend on nature for our survival. “Only with healthy ecosystems, we can enhance people’s livelihoods, counteract climate change and stop the collapse of biodiversity. “
